Diablo Immortal Update (July): Upcoming Patch Notes and Release News (2023)

As promised, the second July update was significantly more substantial. Here is an excerpt from the blog:

“A few weeks ago, we brought you our first batch of post-launch content for Diablo Immortal. This week, we are pleased to introduce the newclass changemechanic, two in-game events, our deadliest heliquary boss yet, and much more. All items mentioned below will belive on July 20 at 3 am server time—Specific dates for content to be released at a later date are provided below.”

We'll give a brief summary of each below, but if you follow the links you can read everything in more detail.

• class change– Class change is available for a character starting at level 35. You can change your class once every seven days and at no cost.
• hero's journey– A new endgame experience that is unlocked for adventurers during the Frozen Tundra portion of the main questline.
• Adventurer's Path Limited Time Event- OfJuly 20 at 3:00 pm–August 3 at 3:00 am. server timeCompleting Adventurer's Path tasks will earn you gold, enchanted dust, and scrap materials for your heroics.
• Hellicary's new boss: Gorgothra the Claimer- Gorgothra is the third of the Wrathborne demons to plague Sanctuary. He assembles his party in Hellicary, while Gorgothra appears inAugust 2.
• Hungry Moon Limited Time Event– come back fromJuly 29 3:00 am–August 1 3:00 am. server time.
• Amber leaf cosmetics set– Can now be purchased from the in-game store.
• feature updates– Too many to mention, from various tweaks and changes to thirty-six new Legendary Class Items

It's been almost two weeks since the first July update was announced, and we also had the Hungry Moon event last weekend.

But don't forget, the developers promised we'd have two updates in July, and with just two weeks to go, we wouldn't be surprised if we got a lot more information about what's coming later this week.

The first post-launch update for Diablo Immortal has already been released, and while some fans expected more, it's a start.

This new update includes the newSeason 2 Battle Pass, a new Helliquary Raid Boss (Vitaath, the Shivering Death), and details of a new weekend event known as 'Hungry Moon'. New Helliquary raid boss: Vitaath The Shivering Death

“Emerging from the icy depths of the Frozen Tundra,Vitaath, the Shivering Death, will stop at nothing to envelop the entire Sanctuary in ice. This laconic demon stalks its prey wrapped in an icy wind and pursues it on wings of ice. She enjoys it as much as the moment when her targets find themselves unable to move.

"If you've got what it takes, gather your party of battle-ready adventurers, visit Rayek's Heliquarium in Westmarch, and bring Vitaath's ice age of terror to an end - glory and rewards await if you succeed!"

Hungry Moon Weekend Event

A new weekend event in the form of 'Hungry Moon' has been announced, startingJuly 15th 3:00 am. until July 18th 3:00 am. server time.

It looks like the event will allow players to do event-exclusive quests, possibly through the existing reward system. Completing missions will award players with "Moonslivers". which can be exchanged for 'Blessings'.

After acquiring seven Blessings, you will be able to exchange them for rewards, which have yet to be revealed.

We'll no doubt get more details next week before the event starts.

According to the team, "this patch is just a start".

While we can expect to see many more updates in the future, the team has already teased another update later this month (July).

“While we don't want to completely spoil the fun, we'll leave you with this: the class change, along with some additional new content, will arrive in our next update.at the end of this month.”

The only information provided to fans so far comes from Blizzard Community Lead Adam Fletcher, who suggests that the first Diablo Immortal update will arrive in July 2022. Potentially at the same time as the next Battle Pass, which will also arrive in early 2022. July. .

Additionally, it looks like the team has reiterated that they are working to try to remove as many bots as possible. Writing on Reddit in-player wrote:

"Blizzard! Making an official statement about bots in the game, using bots and autoclickers to possibly ruin one of the best locations in the game is prohibited? So I'm wasting my time not farming while I sleep."

To which PezRadar responded with the following message:

“Just a heads up – please continue to use the in-game reporting tool as it is the best way to identify and investigate these users. We have been actively investigating users who are reported for suspicious behavior and movements and can confirm that action was taken on accounts that did. But the best course of action is to use the in-game reporting tool so we can accurately identify the UIDs and analyze them."

It remains to be seen whether the upcoming updates in July will also have any impact on these bots and autoclickers, but it would certainly be helpful.
